Boys’ Brigade

The objective of The Boys’ Brigade is to promote the habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect, including integrity and love. For the Junior Boys (P3 – P6), there are six achievement badges to attain. Pupils are required to complete assignments to attain the badges. Pupils may also attain the Gold Badge, the highest award a Junior Boy can receive. They need to have an attendance of at least 80%, complete four or more hours of Community Service and participate in the Juniors Adventure Quest to qualify for the Gold Badge. Pupils attend weekly parades and participate in the activities like games, outdoor cooking, camping and basic first-aid. It has been 9 years since the first BB Parade in 2006. 106J has successfully groomed more than 100 boys who have since graduated. We welcome P3 pupils to join BB as well.
